Music
I spend some of my free time composing and recording music.
This has taken many forms over the years, but has more recently involved secluding myself into a bedroom or other quiet place, strumming guitar, playing piano or (increasingly) tinkering with digital synths of various kinds. I record almost exclusively instrumental music, usually with a sci-fi tinge to it. Music that I release online is under the moniker Vermilion Sands.
